2016 Hawaii-Pacific Area Combined Federal Campaign

Combined Federal Campaign Approved Charity LogoThe 2016 Hawaii-Pacific Area Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) period is from Oct. 3 to Nov. 18, 2016. This year’s theme is “If Not You, Then Who?” and calls on all federal workers to become part of a movement that supports their community. Helping Hands Hawaii is an Approved Charity of the CFC, and our CFC Code is #79228.

During this annual campaign, federal employees join together to support local nonprofit agencies, such as Helping Hands Hawaii. Employees decide which organizations are meaningful to them and generously designate gifts in support of the work being done to uplift and change lives in the community.

CFC donations from federal employees make a difference in the lives of the individuals and families we serve. They support adults living with severe mental illness; help people with Limited English Proficiency access needed services; and prevent families from becoming homeless. They give free school supplies to children from low-income or homeless families, and they brighten the holidays for those who are struggling to make ends meet.

Draft 7Donating through the CFC makes supporting Helping Hands Hawaii easy and efficient. Donations are accepted online, through payroll deduction and pledges. In 2015, federal workers in the Hawaii-Pacific area raised more than $3.5 million for local charities through more than 16,500 pledges. Nearly $5,600 of these donations were designated to CFC Code #79228 to support Helping Hands Hawaii. To view the 2015 Hawaii-Pacific Area CFC Campaign Report, click here.

Federal employees include members of the military, postal workers, border patrol officers, immigration officials, Social Security Administration staff, federal law enforcement agents, employees of the U.S. District Court, USDA, NOAA and many other agencies. Their contributions to local nonprofit agencies support vital programs and services that assist family, friends, neighbors and others in need.

Each year Helping Hands Hawaii is so grateful for the love that pours in from CFC donors. They allow us to continue serving the community, and their donations change lives! Please make a donation through the 2016 Combined Federal Campaign from Oct. 3 to Nov. 18, 2016 and support Helping Hands Hawaii (CFC Code #79228)!
