2017 Ready to Learn School Supply Drive

RTL 2017 POSTER v2

Join us as we kick off our annual Ready to Learn (RTL) school supply drive from June 1 to July 31, 2017! Help put free school supplies into the hands of thousands of financially struggling students!

Each year active community support plays an essential role in providing students in need with tools to help their future. Individuals and groups donate money and school supplies to the fundraising effort. They coordinate collection drives within their workplaces or among their friends. Some folks volunteer their time and help put loose school supplies together into age-appropriate kits.

You can get involved by completing an RTL Community Partner Application and emailing it to RTL@helpinghandshawaii.org. Then, we’ll connect with you and share some tips on how you can coordinate your own school supply drive or become a volunteer for RTL!

Monetary contributions toward RTL can be made online by clicking the Donate Now link on the right side of our website. All online donations from 6/1/17 – 7/31/17 are automatically earmarked for the RTL program.

Additionally, cash and checks are accepted at or can be mailed to our main office, which is located at:

Helping Hands Hawaii
Attn: Ready to Learn program
2100 N. Nimitz Hwy
Honolulu, HI 96819

Nothing is more critical than giving our children all the opportunities we can and empowering them to be the best students they can be. Your support of the Ready to Learn program gives Hawaii’s keiki a better chance at overcoming challenges and growing up to fully realize their potential.
