Chief Financial Officer
“Helping Hands Hawaii helps many people in our state in a variety of different ways, and I am fortunate to work with great people at an organization that is making positive impacts in our community.”
As the Chief Financial Officer, Gerald is responsible for providing oversight and direction to the agency’s financial operations. He also manages the accounting and reporting operations for all programs and provides fiscal control of the client trust accounts related to the Representative Payee Services.
Gerald graduated from Hawaii Baptist Academy and earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Prior to joining HHH, he worked for Lemke, Chinen, and Tanaka CPA, LLC, where he became a CPA, and as the Controller at UHA. He currently is the Treasurer of the Autism Society of Hawaii.
Fun fact: Gerald loves biking; in fact, he participated in the 2014 Tour De Scottsdale in Arizona.
