Baby Supply Drive at Pearl Hawaii Federal Credit Union

Baby Supply Drive - 8.5 x 11 Poster

Pearl Hawaii Federal Credit Union (PHFCU) rings in the new year with a baby supply drive for low-income and homeless families with infants and children. Donations support our Community Clearinghouse, which provides free basic essentials to families year round.

From Jan. 2 to Mar. 17, drop off donations at any of PHFCU’s five branches: Waipio, Pearl Harbor, Airport, Kapiolani and Ewa. Or, bring donations directly to the Community Clearinghouse.

Items in highest need include car seats, booster seats, strollers, baby carrier, activity gyms, diapers, wet wipes, baby formula, baby food, baby body wash, baby shampoo, scent/dye-free laundry detergent and other items for hygiene. Baby items must be donated new and unopened if a safety certificate is required and to ensure the children’s health and safety.

Other items like clothes, blankets, towels, bibs, burp cloths, pacifiers, bottles, bottle warmers, sterilizers and toys may be donated gently loved.

Providing hundreds of consumers with access to free baby essentials will relieve the financial burden new parents struggle with when trying to balance household necessities, like rent and utilities, with the needs of their young children. We are very grateful for this partnership with PHFCU, because they directly address a need in the community while offering financial services and educational resources that will help local families strengthen their financial stability.

If you have any questions about the Baby Supply Drive or what items can be accepted new or gently loved, contact the Community Clearinghouse at (808) 440-3800 or cch@helpinghandshawaii.org.
