Betty Shimabukuro Shares Recipes for a $5 Donation

It’s that time of year again! Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Betty Shimabukuro offers the public access to some of the best recipes of 2015. All you need to do is make a $5 charitable donation to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser and Helping Hands Hawaii’s Good Neighbor Fund, and she will mail you five of her favorite recipes.

To order: Send $5 for each set of recipes, along with a self-addressed, stamped, legal-size (4-by-9-inch) envelope for each set ordered (if you want five sets, send $25 and five envelopes). If making an extra donation, please state the number of recipe sets you want and the amount that is a pure donation.

Make checks payable to the Good Neighbor Fund and mail them to:

Deadline to order is Dec. 28.

  • Roast Pork a la Rainbow Drive-In

The Good Neighbor Fund provides assistance to families in need during the holidays through the Adopt A Family program and throughout the year by providing crucial assistance with rent and utilities to families and individuals struggling with homelessness.
