Good Neighbor Fund – Every Donation Helps Someone in Need

IMG_1786The Good Neighbor Fund (GNF) is an annual fundraising campaign in partnership with the Honolulu Star-Advertiser and First Hawaiian Bank to help individuals and families struggling with poverty, homelessness and other challenges during the holidays and throughout the year. This partnership and the donations received through combined efforts has resulted in the improvement of so many lives and helped households get back on their feet.

Your contribution to the GNF supports Adopt A Family, our holiday initiative to uplift households experiencing homelessness, medical hardship, unemployment and more. It provides financial assistance to help families resolve their past-due rent and assists homeless families with their down payments.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP

Donations to the Good Neighbor Fund will be accepted at all First Hawaiian Bank locations from Monday, November 20 to Sunday, December 31.

DONOR MAHALOS

All GNF donors will be publicly acknowledged in the newspaper courtesy of The Honolulu Star-Advertiser. Donors may choose to:

1) Print your name – Names will be printed exactly as listed unless specified.

2) Print a very brief message – For instance, “In memory of John Doe” or “From the Smith Family.”

3) Donate anonymously – To donate anonymously, indicate “Anonymous” in a note or memo line.

If none is listed, we will print the donor’s name to acknowledge him or her for the kind contribution.
