Mahalo for Supporting Ready to Learn

MAHALO from all of us at Helping Hands Hawaii for supporting this year’s Ready to Learn fundraising campaign. Because of you and your contributions, thousands of island keiki are returning to school with some basic supplies to help them learn.

We are currently working with Community Partners to collect the school supplies from their individual collection drives, and we will update you on the total donations received once we have tallied the results.

Community Partners may drop off the school supplies collected through your drives at our Community Clearinghouse on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or contact us via email at RTL@helpinghandshawaii.org to schedule a pick up.

The Ready to Learn program operates year round to assist students in need by providing basic school supplies for their education. We welcome continued support through donations of school supplies or online monetary gifts via our website.

We are grateful for the overwhelming support that we receive each year and are humbled that so many in the community choose to get involved. Whether you help through donations of school supplies, provide financial support or volunteer your time, we appreciate all that you do and want you to know that you are impacting the lives of today’s youth . . . and tomorrow’s leaders!

Your actions inspire so many others, including our staff and board of directors, to work harder to ensure that children receive the best educational opportunities and a brighter future!

Below are some highlights from this year’s Ready to Learn season. Mahalo nui loa!
