School Tools Event – Saturday, June 25th

School Tools 2016

All of Hawaii’s keiki deserve to go to school with the basic tools they need to help them learn. But, thousands of children will return without these essential items on their first day of school.

Join KITV4 and Helping Hands Hawaii on Saturday, June 25 at the Keeaumoku Sam’s Club and Walmart locations from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. where we will be collecting school supplies and monetary donations for Hawaii’s keiki.

While all types of school supplies are needed, those in the highest demand are:

  • 1-subject Spiral Notebook
  • 4-1/2” Child-Safe Scissors
  • 4oz.-size Glue
  • 24-count Crayons
  • Backpacks
  • College or Wide-rule Folder Paper
  • Composition Book
  • Erasers
  • Portfolios
  • Rulers

A donation as small as $10 is enough to supply one child with a back-to-school kit this fall. Help us by making a donation to students in need at School Tools! All of the donations collected from School Tools benefits our Ready to Learn program.
