Imagine you’re a single parent with two children working hard to make ends meet. Unable to pay for your family’s monthly expenses, you struggle to put food on the table. Then you meet our SNAP Outreach team, who help you to secure nutritional benefits that pay for groceries. You’re finally able to breathe easier with this extra financial support, and this gives you more free time to spend with your family.
Or, what if you moved your family to Hawaii for better access to medical care. While receiving treatments, you and your children lived in a transitional shelter with other families experiencing similar medical challenges. Now that you’re healthier, you and your family are moving out of the shelter and into a new home. The house doesn’t come furnished and all the rooms are empty. After a visit to our Community Clearinghouse, you receive free home essentials that turn your empty house into a warm and inviting home.
The positive experiences of these families and others can only be achieved with your support. Every donation counts and plays a vital role in making our shared vision a reality.
