Helping Hands Hawai‘i SNAP Outreach Program has been providing outreach services on the island of Oahu for over 10 years. Our team of outreach specialists are committed to providing direct client services to assist Hawaii individuals and households with accessing SNAP benefits.  

Our team meets individuals out in the community, over the phone, or in-person at our agency to ensure nutritional assistance is available to those who need it. Our program helps households fill out, submit, and follow up on SNAP applications. We assist households to understand the eligibility requirements to qualify for SNAP, help recipients maintain their benefits, and educate the community about the importance of nutrition benefits and resources.
